an Installation Partner Manager to help drive this growth.

About your position

The Installation Partner Manager will be accountable for setting up and managing a high-
class nation-wide installer network for Sungevity Italia’s PV operations. The role interfaces
on a daily basis with Sungevity’s chosen partners for Italy and with the Operations and
Business Development (BD) team located in Amsterdam-based Sungevity headquarters.

The Installation Partner Manager has extensive knowledge and experience in the Italian
(residential) solar market and provides technical leadership by sharing best-in- class
installation methods and cost-saving proposals. To that extent, the Installation Partner
Manager will actively recruit and collaborate with new installer partners and hold installers
accountable for installing and conducting business to Sungevity’s standards, ultimately
maintaining and consistently improving the overall quality of the customer experience and
installations, while at all times ensuring best-in- class safety performance.

What you will be doing?

  • The new Installation Partner Manager will be asked to implement and tailor the current Netherlands and Belgium model of installer management to the Italian market
  • Ensure that Sungevity Italia continuously delivers an “insane customer experience” for Italian customers, with a focus on the after-sales process
  • Work closely with the BD Team in the Netherlands to develop our strategy for steering and growing our Installer Network and Distribution Partners and execute on that strategy
  • Set up an installer intake process, to identify and on-board suitable partners to build a
  • network of installation/distribution partners in Italy as Sungevity Italia expands its business
  • Standardize, structure and improve the way we communicate with our partners
  • Setting up dashboards to steer our installers on: Quality, Quantity and Safety
  • Continuous development of market intelligence related to product prices and installation costs – through development of data base for the Italian market

Who we are looking for?

Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in the Solar PV market in Italy or 7 years
relevant work experience, preferably in an international context.

  • Extensive project management experience. Demonstrated ability to manage projects involving multiple partners
  • An established network with PV installers in Italy
  • Experience managing residential solar installers or contractors strongly preferred
  • Technical experience and or training
  • Self-starter, comfortable working in a start-up as well as corporate environment
  • You are charismatic and network at senior levels externally with a view to identify  significant market trends and spread the Sungevity mission
  • You have excellent communication skills, are positive and a strong personality, not afraid to manage a network of installers on business matters
  • You are highly motivated, you can motivate others and make people smile
  • You are structured by nature, results orientated and keep oversight in complex situations
  • You like to learn new things and you are patient, also with others
  • You have good skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • You are native Italian with fluency in English
  • You are eager to help build the world’s most energized team… ever!
